A Priyadhaarshini is an indian film director and screenplay writer who recently made her debut in the tamil movie industry. She was born on 2nd november in coimbatore, tamil nadu. She started her career as the assistant director to renowned filmmaker mysskin. Her first project as a director was action-thriller “shakthi” which is yet to be released in theatres. The movie features varalaxmi sarathkumar in the lead role and promotes women’s power.
Priyadhaarshini is currently shooting her second movie “the iron lady,” a biopic which celebrates the life of former tamil nadu chief minister and actor j. Jayalalithaa. The movie is, however, not the only jayalalithaa biopic being shot. Other than priyadhaarshini’s version, which will star nithya menon, a.l. Vijay’s “thalaivi” intends to narrate the cm’s story as well with kangana ranaut as the protagonist.
