will be doing an important role in the film. It was stated that after launching the movie on 24th February 2019, Jayalalithaa’s birthday, the shooting would start. But, the shooting hadn’t yet started. Priyadarshini revealed the reason why the film has been getting delayed.
She stated that as Nithya has some features and characteristics of Jayalalithaa, she chose her. Making a biopic is a challenging one and it should be shot as it happened, stated Priyadarshini. She also stated that the film should be accepted by the public and hence she is working hard. To make Mahatma Gandhiji’s biopic Sir Richard Attenborough took 18 years, added Priyadarshini. To make it best, the movie requires a lot of time and hence the delay, revealed The Iron Lady’s director.
