Bombay Chanakya

Bombay Chanakya is a director who directed theater plays. He was born J Raghunath on 12^th April 1954 in Bombay. He completed his schooling at SIES High School in Bombay. He is a screenplay and dialogue writer and had directed serials for Kavithalaya Productions. Chanakya was closely associated with the veteran director K Balachander and had given many good content-driven projects. He had been in the film and TV industry since 1990. He worked for Kavithalaya from 1995 to 2013. He had also directed a short film, Manadhil Urudhi Vendum. Bombay Chanakya runs a theater group, Kalamandir, since 1990. He had produced and directed 13 stage plays and had staged 1500 shows.
