Swaminathan, widely known as Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, is a Tamil actor who dons comical and supporting roles in films. He became renowned through his witty acting in Lollu Sabha; a gag show broadcasted in STAR Vijay that makes a spoof of various films, predominantly Tamil movies. Swaminathan, along with acclaimed comedian-cum-actor Santhanam, Lollu Sabha Manoharan and a few more shot to fame through their stint in the comic entertainment LolluSabha.

The program lasted for forty-five episodes and had made a spoof of many films ranging from Superstar and Kamal Haasan’s films to the current day youth hero’s movies. Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece Thalapathy was spoofed as Thalavidhi, Roja as Saroja and superstar's Padayappa and Ejamaan were spoofed as Vadaiyappa and Raghumaan respectively. The team even teased famous television soaps and other reality programs. Swaminathan’s debut was way back in the year 1987, in the film Chinnapoove Mellapesu. He has done many small roles in various films such as Udan Pirappu and Arunachalam, but he got his much-awaited break only through LolluSabha. He has now become a full-fledged comedian, and bonds with the well-known actor Santhanam in movies.
