K G Venkatesh

KG Venkatesh is a highly recognized cinematographer mostly known for his work and contribution to Tamil film industry. Venkatesh was born in Thanjavur and completed his schooling from St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School. He graduated from Shanmugha Polytechnic and also from Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu in Chennai where he earned a degree in cinematography. Venkatesh worked on the film like Sathuranga Vettai which got released on July 2014 where he was widely appreciated for his efforts. After this he worked on films like-Pambhu Sattai, Sarvannan Irukka Bayamaen, and Thiri, all of these films were released in 2017.

Along with being a successful cinematographer Venkatesh also debuted as an actor in 2017 in a Tamil dark comedy film ‘Peechankai’ directed by Ashoka Kumar.
