is one of the Tamil cinematographers. He was born on January 26, 1978, in Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India. Besides being cinematographer is a passionate actor too. He has been working as the director of photography since the age of 25 and much younger times. He has worked on many projects in this field and has many years of experience in making feature films. He made many documentaries that are very well published. He has done an over 500 advertising films. His passion towards cinema is huge which cannot be noted.
Om Prakash being a veteran cinematographer for high budget movies also directed some of the short films which are popular at entertaining through his cinematography skills. He has been working since 2002, where he started with the movie NilaKannadi a Tamil movie which was a hit of short budget movies. Even though a little budget, he got the award of the best cinematographer.

He has been a continuous worker of creative cinematography from the day he started his works which include: Nilakannadi a 2002 Tamil movie, Wanted a 2004 Malayalam movie which has been dubbed and redirected many languages, Chakram a 2005 Telugu movie though being a flop movie had a good cinematography, Danger a 2005 Telugu suspense thriller movie, Krishnarjuna a 2008 Telugu film with great actors like Nagarjuna Akkineni and Manchu Vishnu in it, Naanayam a 2010 Tamil and thriller movie Kalavani in 2010 Tamil movie,Veppam in 2011, Vaagaisoodavaa in 2011 are the Tamil movies with his cinematography.
His Hindi cinematography movies include Faujme in mauj in 2016, Arrambam and much more. It is a great achievement that he played a role of assistant-director in the great socio-fantasy thriller and horror movie kashmora in 2016. His latest projects include Aramm in Tamil. With is versatility in cinematography he has been achieving greater heights for over his 16 years of experience.
