Dipanker Sikder

Dipankar Sikder is a W.I.C.A., Photographer who had his graduation from Pune FTII. Hence, he had an inclination for serious movies that captures his lens power that brings a unique vision behind the lens. He has worked in fiction, non-fiction, feature films, short films, regional films, and even documentary films.

This director of photography had even interest in Wildlife photography and had worked as a journalist in print and television media too. Dipankar found his way even on TV shows, Ad films and is a true specialist in Time Lapses.

In the year 2014, he was an assistant cameraman for short film titled 'A Dream Animal', while in 2016, Dipankar was a cinematographer for a short movie 'The Guide' which received huge appreciation.

In the year 2014, he was associated with another short film project 'Penalty Corner'. In the same year, he got associated with a TV series 'Look Who's Talking with Niranjan' where famous Bollywood celebrities talked about the journey that included stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, Katrina Kaif, and many more artists of Bollywood.

He was chosen as series cinematographer for the project that was telecast on Zee Cafe. It may be noted that Niranjan is a screenwriter and lyricist, who is known for his work with Karan Johar and he aired the talk show for which Dipankar was the cinematographer.

Dipankar’s first feature is 'Ordinary World' which was directed and written by Krishnendu Sarkar which was Sarkar’s first project too. The film had a duration of 76 minutes and depicted the days and ordinary life of an ordinary couple in Mumbai. The film released in 2016.

Dipankar was also associated with another project for director and writer Abhijit Mazumdar Bio coming soon... >> Read More... for 'Yeti' that released in 2014. This film also spoke about the fragmented journeys of a group of young people in the city of Mumbai.
