Anandha Kannan

Anandha Kannan is an Indian film actor. He worked for the Tamil Film industry. Kannan was also a TV host for his shows in Sun TV and Sun Music. He started his career as a host in Singapore Vasantham TV. He also worked as a Video Jockey in Sun music and was one of the most famous video jockeys. He was also the brand ambassador of Naturals Spa and Saloons. He hosted a show in Singapore named Savaal Singapore. This show is a Tamil version of We are Singaporeans. Kannan hosted all the five seasons of Savaal Singapore from 2013 to 2018, telecasted on the Vasantham TV channel. He also played in Kadhal Channel in 2012 in a lead role, which was also telecasted on The Vasantham TV. He also got many awards for his work as an actor and as a TV host too.

Anandha Kannan had also played the lead role in Ithanai Naalai Engirundhai with Manochitra. Before all these roles, he played the titular role Sindbad, a fantasy series telecast on Sun TV. In 2011, he was awarded the Best Host for the show Savaal on Vasantham TV, Singapore on Pradhana Vizha. He received Television Actors Guild Award for Best Actor. In 2013, he was honored with the International Youth Icon award at the World Universities Tamil Conference. Anandha Kannan had been getting treatment for cancer for a few years. But, the treatment couldn’t make him survive, and he breathed his last on 16^th August 2021.
