Concerned with the visual aspects of a film, the Production Designer works with the Director and Producer majorly. They have great design skills in terms of the visual parameters- sets, camera, light, costume and the like. They have the knowledge of color themes and schemes, architecture, artistry, camera dimensions and light angles. They possess amazing management and technical skills.

Movies are majorly seen and hardly heard, and working on the “visual” aspects of a film demands a lot of efforts and time. Deadlines are required to be met to ensure continuity and smooth execution. Whatever is visible on the screen is either designed by the production designer or approved by them. Also, they possess planning and organizational skills and use them to chalk out post-production process' plans.
