Vinod Kambli is a prodigy who has wasted his talent in different manners.
Vinod Ganpat Kambli and Tendulkar, both were the students of the cricket coach Achrekar. Kambli was born in Kanjurmarg, Mumbai on 18th January 1972. He played for India, Mumbai, and for Boland. He played his first cricket Test with Tendulkar and scored 664 against St. Xavier school. Since that time, only he had become prominent in the field of cricket, and thereafter his lifeline was raised and he was hitting his ball with his left hand towards the sky.
He started his career with playing in Ranji Trophy and the very first innings had taken him to the height, where he had seen his success only. He had an excellent cricket career in Test cricket. In his seven tests he had in his possession with double centuries and two centuries. He was a middle order batsman and played for Mumbai against South Africa, Sri Lanka. A bright talent had been before blooming properly.
Now a days, he is playing the role of cricket expert and become a commentator on different channels. After having a heart attack, he declared of his retirement from the field with a plea that he would give coaching at his Khel Bharti Academy. His last ODI, he played against Sri Lanka.
