Rekha Nirmal is also known as Rekha Ratheesh, and Rekha Abilash is a Malayalam TV serial actress. She won the Asianet Best Actress award 2014 at Asianet TV Awards for a serial Parasparam directed by Jayakumar. In this young age, the actress dared to play a mother character, Padmavathiyamma, mother of Suresh and Sooraj. This leading role made her very popular among all Television audience.
She hails from Trivandrum. Her father late Ratheesh, who was from Trivandrum, was a dubbing artist and mother late P. K Radha devi, from Thodupuzha, was a film and TV actress and dubbing artist in Malaylam movies. Rekha’s mother P. K Radha devi has acted in over 300 movies and dubbed for over 600 movies and is a receipient of Snageetha Nataka Academy Award. Rekha started acted in a Tamil movie as a child at the age of three. Rekha was very active in arts and sports during her school days.  At the age of 16 she acted in a serial Nirakootukal directed by Srivatsan. Her first major role was as Subadra in  Manassu directed by A M Nazeer. In this, she is one of three sisters, but her supporting role developed into a leading role as the serial progressed. She had a career break due to personal reasons and returned to miniscreen through Nakshathra Deepangal, a reality show for TV artists, on Kairali TV in 2011. In 2012-2013, her negative role Madathil amma (Abi’s mother) in the serial Ayirathil Oruval, telecasted in Mazhavil Manorama,  brought her a lot of appreciations. Now, the role of Padmavathyamma in Parasparam serial is bringing out the artist in Rekha to its fullest. Rekha is also a good dancer and she was seen performing at the Asianet TV  awards 2014.
Rekha lives in Trivandrum now. She married four times. She married to Yousaf then after a divorce she married to an actor Nirmal Prakash then she began to known as Rekha Nirmal. After his death in 2010 she got married to Kamal Roy, but soon got divorced. After their separation, she lived in with Abhilash. She has a one-year-old son Ayan from this relation. Now, Rekha and her son are separated from Abhilash.

Devi Ajith is a famous Malayalam TV actress who acted in some very popular TV soaps since the last two decades. Before establishing her career in serials, Devi was famous as an anchor and VJ on various shows. After taken a long break from TV shows and serials Devi Ajith is back now with a stipulated role in V.K Prakash critically acclaimed movie 'Trivandrum Lodge' with a character named Zarina. She is also famous for her hosting show 'Paatu Petti' which was aired by Asianet.    Devi Ajith did her schooling from Nirmala Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram and done graduation in Law from Kerala Law Academy. She hailed from a very strict conservative family and both her parents were educationists. While doing anchoring in a TV show, director Shyama Prasad spotted Devi and offered her a role in his upcoming serial 'Manal Nagaram' which was based on the story of Dubai Malayalees and their culture. The first break in serials gave Devi chances to act further few teleserials with veteran director Adam Ayub's 'Sthree Parvam Navam' and with Shajiyem on 'Nakshatrangal Ariyathe'. Further she got an opportunity to work in a Malayalam Film 'Seetha Kalyanam' alongside Jayaram, Jyothika, and Geethu Mohandas. But the film got much delayed on making and finally it released on 2009.    She also acted in 'Ivar' the first Malayalam movie to shot purely in handy cam on locations. Along with TV serials, she also acted in few Short Films. Among the short films, the famous one was 'Cupid' directed by Sohan. It brings her four awards in various film festivals on the best performance. She also did Short Film for Rajesh Pillai (Traffic fame) named as 'Arikil Oraal Koode'.   Devi Ajith got arrested once by Kerala Police for Drunk and Drive but released soon by no complaint registered. But the video on police interrogation with the actress went viral with social media. Devi Ajith is staying now in Thiruvananthapuram with her husband Col. Ashok Vasudevan and their daughter.


Neena Kurup

Neena Kurup is a Malayalam film and Television actress who was born on May 3, 1973, in Calicut. She completed her schooling in St. Joseph Anglo Indian School and her graduation from Providence women’s college. Neena is married to Sunil Kumar is an exporter and they settled in Kochi.  She entered into the Malayalam film industry through the 1986 movie “Gandhinagar 2nd Street” starring the megastar Mohanlal and Karthika. The film was remade in Tamil which was named “Annanagar Mudhal Theru” and in Telugu as “Gandhinagar Rendo Veedhi”. Neena played a very small in the movie. Her first movie as a heroine was “Sreedharante Onnam Thirumurivu” which was directed by Sathyan Anthikad and released in 1987. Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian movie director, lyricist, and screenwriter who is known for taking family oriented movies.  Neena played the character named “Aswathy” who is the cousin of the hero “Sreedharan”, the character played by Mammootty. Aswathy is an educated girl who is rude and doesn’t like her relatives. The character was well carried off by Neena’s acting skills though she was a newcomer. She has acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies also. She did more than 15 films in Malayalam in which her character in the movie “Punjabi House” was clicked. It was a musical comedy movie in Malayalam which was released in the year 1998.  Neena has also anchored a few shows, Merchants of India in Surya TV, VaalKannadi in Asianet and Dubai Shopping Festival. Some of her serials are Chakravakam (which was her debut series), Aayirathil Oruval, Sreekrishnan and a few more. Some of her upcoming movies are Vellakkuppayam, Heroine, Namasthe Bali and Driver on Duty.
