Born on 13 November 1991, Gauthami Nair is a Malayalam actress. She hails from Alapuzha, Kerala. Since she was interested in films she quit her studies midway. However she took up a course in psychology during the year 2012. This was also the same year in which she debuted into the Malayalam film industry. 'Second Show' was her first fllm in which she lived the life of the character Geetu. This film also saw the entry of Dulquer Salmaan into the Malayalam film industry. Gauthami also received positive response for the film. She has received couple of awards for her performance in this film. Her role as a nurse in her second film 'Diamond Necklace' won her accolades. She portrayed the character of a Tamil girl. The film was declared a super hit and she is chiefly known for this film. Her third film 'Chapters' also received good response. Gauthami Nair admits that she is not camera shy. She was lucky enough to work under the direction of Lal Jose, who is an acclaimed director of Malayalam films. Gauthami is indeed a performer to reckon with since in such a small span she has delivered couple of super hits. She is indeed one of the few actresses who have made a mark for herself in such a short span. Her entry into Malayalam film industry was a milestone in her career as she got to act in three good movies. She is now considered as one of the good actresses of Mollywood. Gauthami had always dream't of involving herself in the medical field. This prompted her to study a course in psychology.
