Acting is in Kripa’s genes. The acting bug bit her very early in her life and she debuted as a child artist in a movie called Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala in the year 1998. She essays the role of Divya in this movie, which went on to win the National Award for the Best Film on Other Social Issues. It was directed by Sreenivasan. This movie laid a platform for Kripa’s acting to take off.

She is known as a glamorous actress who performs with perfection. Not only does she act, she models too. Having earned her name in the modelling world, she juggles acting and comparing too.

Small Screen anchoring paved the way to Kripa, and she has anchored in Mambazham on Kairali T.V. Movies had started off for Kripa in her childhood itself and she went on to continue acting on the big screens too. Her other movies have been Paribhavam in 2009 where she is in the lead role opposite Abhilash. She portrays the role of Nandini in the movie. The year 2009 also saw Kripa in the movie Samayam. 2011 followed with Nayanam, a romantic movie where she plays the role of Aswathy.

Kripa is happily married to Pradeep, who is the son of Late Mullanezhi Neelakantan Namboodiri, who was a very well-known writer. The couple tied the knot at Sree Guruvayoorappa Temple, in Thrissur, Kerala.
