Young, bubbly actress Leona Lishoy made a smooth entry into the cinema field through the movie 'Kalikalam' directed by Haridas. She was born in Thrissur, then went to Christ College, Bengaluru, which changed her life forever wherein she got selected for a couple of advertisements. She has now a handful of movies and is acting in almost all South Indian languages. Her stunning looks and unmatched talent is her asset in this field.
It was director Kannan who happened to see the commercial featuring Lishoy and took an initiative to cast her in his directorial debut, Jawan of Vellimala. Leona was also a part of Perariya Poovu, her third project which made her do the character of a teacher and she was immensely satisfied with that role.
Lisha revealed in an interview that her entry into Malayalam cinema was quite easy. However, the young actress finds the Malayalam film industry quite challenging, as there is no dearth of talented youngsters here.
The actress looks forward to a bright future in the film industry while keeping a passion to continue her higher studies in Management. Leona, who wish to make a firm hold in the industry, eyes on unique and bold characters.
