Jayaraj Warrier

Jayaraj Warrier is an Indian film actor. He mostly features in Malayalam film industry which is more commonly known as Mollywood.He is a very multi-talented person. Alongside being an actor, he also is a stand-up comedian, performs Ottamthullal and also sketched caricatures. His appearances are generally comic and supporting roles. Ottamthullal is a poetic and dance form in Kerala which started in the 18th century.Caricatures is the describing of a person by over exaggerating some of the characteristics and overly simplifying some.

Jayaraj Warrierwas born in the city of Thrissur, which is in the Southern Indian state of Kerala. At the start of his career, he was just a not so professional theatre artist. Along with this, in the year 1982, he joined the group of Root Theater which was led by Jose Chirammel. Jose Chirammel headed this group for 7 years from 1984.​Jayaraj has played some important roles on stage like Bhomaolpadanathinte, Chathuppil Parkkunnavar, udrarakshasam,  Shavaghoshayathra, and Sooryavetta.

He has also conducted various caricature shows. These shows were national as well as international. For the first time ever, in July 2003, he held the caricature show in the Kerala Assembly. He was the first person in the history of the assembly to conduct such an event. He also has a daughter. Her name is Indulekha Warrier. She is a stage performer and also a playback-singer.He debuted in the film industry in Malayalam language or the Mollywood, with the movie Pranchiyettan & the Saint. This movie released in the year 2010. And from then on he has gone on to feature in many Mollywood movies with comic roles or supporting roles.
