Sunil Ibrahim is an Indian director, an ad-filmmaker, writer, and a producer, who works chiefly in the Malayalam Film Industry based in Kerela. Ibrahim was born in Madanvilla, a district in Kerela, on 12 December 1978. Presently, he lives in Ernakulam, another city in the same state. He started his career as an ad filmmaker, shooting advertisements for the local and national television. From July 2006 to November 2008, that is, for two years and eight months, he worked as a Creative Director for Whiz Media LLC, based in Dubai. 2006 was a milestone year for Ibrahim, as he not only started working for Whiz but also quit smoking the same year.

In 2009, Sunil founded his own production company, Vibezon Movies, based in Trivandrum. However, his career as a film director began with the movie Chapters, released in 2012. With this movie, Ibrahim introduced a new way of storytelling by linking four different plots with each other, such that the people in one help those in the next. The film, starring twenty new faces, was an instant hit and Sunil made his mark in the industry right from his directorial debut. The movie also marked his debut as a scriptwriter, and was produced by Galaxy Films.

Indrajith Sukumaran was produced under the banner of Milestone Cinemas and was another hit by Ibrahim. Sunil's journey as a producer began in 2016 when the movie Olappeeppi hit the silver screens. The film was a periodic family drama, produced under the banner of his production house, Vibezon movies. It was directed by Krish Kymal and featured Biju Menon, Paris Laxmi, and Reina Maria in the lead roles.

In the same year, he directed another Malayalam drama film, Y: Kathayil Chodyamund, starring Rajagopalan Pankajakshan Pillai. However, because of its weak storyline, the film did not impress critics, and could not manage to be successful. Ibrahim's upcoming project is another Malayalam movie, Y, featuring forty new faces, each having an equally important role. According to him, the story itself is the main hero of the film. Ibrahim is not only directing Y but has also written the script of this suspense thriller. He claims it to be a realistic work, portraying the differences of people's mindsets on the same incident. It is produced under the banner of his own production house, Vibezon.
