P.R. Arun

P R Arun is an Indian filmmaker and writer who works in the Mollywood film industry. Born and raised in Kochi, Kerala, he completed his schooling at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Madurai Kamaraj University and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Pondicherry University. He also has a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre from Shree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. In the late 2000s, he served as a Program Manager at Radio Mango before becoming a filmmaker.

He has over a decade of experience in media, marketing, and branding. He also worked at Lokadharmi Theatre, Kochi. He is the director of the theatre group Fifth Estate.
