Bijith Bala is an Indian film editor, visual graphics artist, and director who has worked chiefly in the South Indian film industry. He was born on 29 May 1980 to his parents - Balachandran and Rajalakshmi. His birthplace is Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. He is married to Simi S Nair and has a daughter with her named Anmaya Bijith. Bijith had begun his career in 2003, working as a graphic designer. He is known for his works in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022), Nellikka (2015) and Padachone Ingalu Kaatholee (2022), Shutter (2012), and Vellam (2021). His movie “Dug Dug” was selected in the Toronto International Film Festival in 2021. He has also edited many films in various languages throughout his career as a film editor.
