Chidambaram S. Poduval is an Indian writer and Malayalam Film director in the Film Industry. He was born on 29th June in Kannur. He is the older brother of Ganapathi S. Poduval, the Malayalam Actor who acted in the films. Chidambaram gained skills in Direction and camera handling of equipment of cameras. He is very experienced in the film industry in documentary filmmaking, Media Productions, and Commercial cinema since 2008.

He is well known for his debut film, Jan-E-Man, a romcom that became popular. Ganapathi, also the actor in the cast, has co-written this film Jan-E-Man with his brother and worked together. The film Jan-E-Man means Sweetheart, but it is not only about the love between couples but also about friendships and Family. The film was shot in Kochi amid the Covid pandemic and finished early in 35 days. Chidambaram worked with Rajeev Ravi and KU Mohanan in cinematography. He also worked as an Assistant Director to Jayaraj. He is also the Co-founder of 2 Media startups.

Chidambaram directed Manjummel Boys, which hit the screens on 22nd February 2024. The film was based on a real-life incident in which a group of boys from Manjummel, Kerala, went on a trip to Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu.
