Faisal Khan was born in 1999 in Mumbai. His father is an auto rickshaw driver and his mother is a housewife. Since his early childhood, he was very passionate about dancing and acting.Â
In 2012, he was selected for participation in Zee TVs programme, Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2. With his great style of dancing and offbeat movements, he was the winner of Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2 competition. In the same year, he also participated in dance Ke Superkids as a contestant and made a special appearance in Dance Ka Tashan.
In 2013, he was offered the role of young Maharana Pratap Singh in the Sony TV serial Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap Singh. He is presently doing the role and his performance in the serial is receiving all round accolades.Â
He is a great fan of Rithik Roshan and he says that he has switched to acting following the example of Rithik Roshan who has done the same.Â
He has also received a number of awards for his performance like Zee Rishtey Awards, Zee Gold Awards for best male lead, Indian telly Awards for best child artist and Indian television Academy Awards for best child actor for his performance in Maharana Pratap.
He says that his dream has been fulfilled by having the chance to act and dance and he wants to become a choreographer in future and wants to direct Rithik Roshan in dancing.
