However, that is not all. With increasingly positive word of mouth, ‘Manjummel Boys’ is also the first choice for moviegoers across Tamil Nadu. According to recent reports, this film has earned almost 3 crores by now. With that, this film has become one of the highest Malayalam grossers in Tamil Nadu!
Written and directed by Chidambaram S Poduval, ‘Manjummel Boys’ is a survival thriller, that revolves around a group of youngsters who visit the Gunaa caves. When one of them gets trapped, the remaining group has to fight tooth and nail to bring him out alive. Based on true incidents, this film was released on 22 February 2024. Soubin Shahir [one of the main leads] has produced this film.
Despite the presence of films like ‘Bramayugam’ and ‘Premalu’, the positive word of mouth for this film was so much that in less than a week, the film earned more than 50 crores worldwide, and is soon on the way to enter the coveted club of more than 100 crores.
