Kalabhavan Abi

Kalabhavan Abi was an Indian comedian, singer and film actor, remembered by the audience for his work in movies like Koothara, Happy Wedding Click to look into! >> Read More... , For Sale Click to look into! >> Read More... , etc. Mostly known for his predominant involvement in Mollywood movies and Malayali TV shows, he has also worked in the industry as a dubbing artist. Born on 28th February 1965 as Habeeb Muhammed, he chose the stage name Kalabhavan Abi before starting out with his career.

He was the third son of Payipra Ezhuthanikattu Ummakanju and Thadathikkudiyil Bava Khan. Kabeer B Haroon and Ameer Navas were his elder brothers and he also had a younger sister named Raziya. After completing his secondary schooling from Government Higher School, Muvattupuzha, he studied at Maharajas University, Kochi and pursued Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma Course in Mumbai.

Before passing out on 30th November 2017 in Kochi, he was happily married to Sunila and had one son and two daughters, named Shane, Ahana and Aleena respectively.
