Ashvin Mathew is an Indian Film Actor, Comedian, Stage Actor, and Screenwriter. He worked in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam Film Industries. Ashvin is originally a Malayali but was brought up in Bangalore. He is currently staying in the Republic of Cyprus with his wife, who belongs to that country.

His father was a doctor, whereas his mother was an agricultural scientist. He studied Theatre in Sydney. He then left for Cyprus to study Radio Journalism. Later, he came back to Bangalore and performed a few stand-up comedy shows. He then went to Dubai, where he worked as a theatre teacher.

He used to jump between Dubai and India very frequently to become a full-fledged actor in the Indian Film Industry. Ashvin started his career in the Film Industry with the film Veeralipattu (2007) where he was working behind the screen.

His first film as an actor is English Vinglish (2012) where he played the role of Father Vincent in all the languages like Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. After the film, he got a role in the Malayalam film Vedivazhipadu (2013).

He then worked in many Malayalam films like 1 by two (2014), Mr. Fraud (2014), Tamaar Padaar (2014), Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017), C/O Saira Banu (2017), and many more movies. He is famous for his comic roles.
