Vineeth went to S.N.D.P Higher Secondary School, Palissery, and St.Thomas High School Ayroor. He graduated from Union Christian College, Aluva, and the Federal Institute of Science And Technology, Angamaly.

In 2014, he made his first short film, Inverse. Rachana Narayankutty worked with him in this short film. In 2019, his short film received huge acclaim at the Vipra International Short Film Festival. His short film received the Best Film, Best Director, and Best Child Artist awards. Athul, who played in the short film, won the Best Child Artist award.
