Raksha Gowda

Raksha Gowda is a popular Kannada and Telugu TV and movie actress, born on 7th September 1996 in Bangalore. Raksha dreamed of becoming a model and taking part in the Miss Universe competition during her childhood. But, things changed over time. She did her graduation with BBA at Jain College. When she was offered to play in a TV serial, Raksha didn’t have any idea about facing the camera. She had not played in school or college skits or dramas. But, she picked up soon and impressed everyone as Anvitha of Radha Ramana. She shared the screen space with Skanda Ashok, Sibbu Suryan, and Shweta Prasad. After gaining the audience's attention, Raksha played in the Star Suvarna serial, “Putmalli.” She played the main role in Putmalli. Raksha shared the screen space with Sharath Padmanabh, “Madhumitha H,” Tanisha Kuppanda, Veena Ponnappa, and Dhanraj CM. Raksha attended college when she gets off from her serial schedule. Her friends and faculties supported her a lot, stated Raksha in an interview. Raksha is interested in trekking and paragliding. She has a huge interest in dancing and painting since childhood.

After her success in the Kannada TV industry, Raksha got an offer from the Telugu TV industry. Guppedantha Manasu is her debut Telugu serial as the lead actress. She shared the screen space with Mukesh Gowda, Gopal Shyam, Sai Kiran, Vasanthi, Usha Sri, Jyothi Rai, Balaji, Sudheer Challa, VJ Roshini Chowdhury, Veena Sawarupa Reddy, and Arjun Shankar. Directed by Kapuganti Rajendra, the Star Maa series made Raksha popular among the Telugu TV audience. It is one of the highly-rated Telugu serials with the young star cast. Before Guppedantha Manasu, Raksha had played in a Telugu serial, Krishnaveni. Raksha Gowda played in the film Photographer Pandu with Ashwin Rao Pallaki, directed by Virat Manjunath.
