Deepika Venkatesh is a Kannada TV serial actress who was born and brought up in Malur, a village in Bellary district of Karnataka. She has completed a Bachelor of Engineering and MTech from a college in Bangalore. While perceiving MTech, she was offered a role in the daily soap Jothey Jotheyalli as a supporting actress. After which, there was no looking back.
She was offered a role in Colors Kannada’s popular serial Charanadaasi. Deepika bagged a prominent role in director Krishna’s Amma serial, which was aired on Star Suvarna channel. However, she gained much popularity for her lead role as Jyothi in the daily soap Jeevanadi. Jeevanadi is a female-centric drama that revolves around the difficulties faced by a single mother to pursue education and raise her child.
