Gurudutt Sreekanth is an Indian actor, director, screenwriter, singer, and lyricist who has worked in various genres in the Kannada film industry. Mookavismitha, Gurudutt's last film, was released in 2019. Mookavismitha is a film in which he wrote, directed, and acted. Krupa A.Vanishree Bhatt Sreekanth co-starred with him in the movie. The film follows two people, one in the 1920s and the other in the current day, each dealing with their struggles and conflicts. The film is based on the play Tollu Gatti by TP Kailasam, a well-known dramatist. In the film, Sandeep Malani plays Hiriyanna, the patriarch of the household and a gruff, egoistic solid, and rigid Havyaka Brahmin, set in the 1950s. Sandeep Malani won an award at the renowned 7th Indian Cine Film Festival in Mumbai on September 8 for his performance in the film Mookavismitha. The event received around 374 submissions throughout India.
