Uday Kumar PS was born on 3 May 1986 to Subramaniyam & Devika in Kudremukha of Chikmagalur district. He completed college at St. Xavier Mangalore. He then went for Film Editing at TV & Film Institute. Uday Kumar is married to Vathsala and is a full-time Film Director & Editor. Uday Kumar's directorial debut, Karmoda Saridu was released in 2019. He has also directed various short films and won many awards. As an editor, he started his career working under the state award winner Srikanth of Ugram & KGF fame.
