Intro: Harsha Bhogle is a person who gained his television presence because of cricket although he is not a cricket player. According to an online poll of Crickinfo, Harsha Bhogle was voted as most favourite TV cricket commentator of India.Harsha Bhogle is known for his fluent cricket commentary because of which he has won a lot accolades. While now he is working as a freelance TV commentator and presenter, he started his career with All India Radio at the age of 19. He owns the honour of being the first Indian who was called by Australian Broadcasting Corporation to work as a commentator during the 1992 Cricket Work Cup which was held in Australia. In 1995, he started commenting live cricket as he joined the commentators’ team of ESPN STAR Sports. He joined the team of commentators called “Few Good Men” along with Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Geoff Boycott, Navjot Singh Sidhu, and Allan Wilkins.In 2009, Harsha Bhogle joined CNN-IBN as a cricket analyst and since then he is covering all the seasons of Indian Premiere League. During the Indian tour of Australia 2011-12, he was not the part of commentators’ team of ESPN STAR Sports as he exclusively worked for ABC Radio.Along with acting as a commentator, Harsha has also hosted some television programs such as Harsha Online, School Quiz Olympiad, and Harsha Unplugged for Star Sports and ESPN. Charu Sharma has left a mark in the heart of all Indians through his wonderful commentary. The game of cricket in the 90s and the early 21st century has always been an integral part of the Indian household with the assistance of his superb commentary. He had been the successful figure who was featured along with Mandira Bedi on the talk shows held during the cricket matches. Besides being a famous name as a commentator, he is also a quizmaster. Charu's early life saw him working in a tea company based in Delhi, and later he shifted to a cigarette company in Hyderabad. His life as a commentator commenced with his participation in Asian Games. The preliminary stage of being a commentator saw Charu leading a hectic and practically nomadic life. His marriage with Anuja restrained his unhindered movements. He has worked as a professional anchor with ESPN. Lately, the alumni of Mayo College also held the post of CEO of Royal Challengers Team in the IPL. Although rumours claim that he was later being terminated, the officials insist that Charu Sharma resigned at his free will.
