Mushtaq Shiekh is a renowned film commentator, author and an eminent screenplay writer. Mushtaq was born on April 29, 1975 and currently resides in Bandra, Mumbai, India together with his parents, sisters, his two brothers-in-law, his nephew and niece.

He was given credits for the screenplay of the Hindi romantic film,
Om Shanti Om
in 2007 which was directed by
Farah Khan
. He also wrote a book entitled, The Making of Om Shanti Om which gives an intuition on the making of the film and what’s been happening behind the scene. He is also the screenplay writer of the films,
Billu Barber
in 2009, Ra.One in 2011 and Rangrezz in 2013. He also wrote the book, The Making of Asoka and a book entitled, Still Reading Khan, a biography of the famous actor,
Shah Rukh Khan
, which was followed by Shah Rukh Can, the second edition of Khan’s biography. Mushtaqh also wrote another book entitled, Devdas – The Indian Hamlet.Â
He started his television career when
Ekta Kapoor
, one of his close friends, pushed him to do something in television when the time that television didn’t get the kind of respect that it was receiving now. He wrote various popular soap operas like Kahiin To Hoga on STAR Plus, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat on Sony TV, K. Street Pali Hill on STAR Plus, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii on STAR Plus and Kasauti Zindagii Kay on STAR Plus. He started to be a scriptwriter with an hour episodes of the series, Rishtey and Zee TV’s Saturday Night Suspense. His contributions to the television industry gained him accolades and improved the TRPs of the above shows. In no time, he was able to carve his good name in the television world.Â
Later on, because of his achievements, he became the Creative Head of Sahara One channel. From there, he started a new chapter of his life and changed the destiny of various television products of the channel.Â

which stars
Madhuri Dixit
and Juhi Chawla.
