Tharun Kumar

Tharun Kumar is a Tamil actor featured in flicks like Aanmai Thavarael, Crossroads, Dora, and Thagaraaru. Born in Bangalore, the actor studied at Modern English High School, JP Nagar, Bangalore. Later, he pursued his bachelor’s in commerce at the BHS College, Jayanagar, Bangalore. While pursuing his college studies, he did minor jobs in real estate. He also owned a video cassette library. Since he had an interest in acting, he pursued a Diploma in Theatres at Abhinaya Taranga, Bangalore. Later, he relocated to Chennai in search of acting opportunities. Tharun made his movie debut in Kollywood with the 2008 film Kaalai. Kumar was offered the role of a villain by director Tharun Gopi. 

He also worked as an assistant director for the movie. In Kaalai, Kumar plays the role of the villain Jeeva. The movie stars Ramakrishnan in the lead role. The film revolves around a girl who goes to a village with her grandmother. A woman aids her to pursue studies at school.
