Ajay Nain

Ajay Nain or popularly known as 'Ajay Kumar Nain', was born on Nov 11, 1981 in Fazilka Dist, Punjab. He attended Shaaban Robert Secondary School and D.A.V. College, Chandigarh for his graduation. He has one brother, Sanjay Nain. Ajay started doing theater during his graduation time in college and that improved his acting acumen tremendously. He was doing theater when he left for Mumbai to persue his dreams of acting on the silver screen and kept doing so for two more years.

His first TV serial was ‘ Ranbir Rano’ which was telecast on Zee TV from Sep 2008 to May 2009, wherein he donned the role of ‘ Dharam Dharamaraj Bhatt, a.k.a. Dharam is an Indian music >> Read More... ’. In 2009, he played ‘Gurinder’,a negative role ‘Kis Desh Main Mera Dil’, a highly successful and award winning TV serial (won Star India Parivaar and New Talent awards for many categories in 2008 and 2009 consecutively). This serial had remained in the top three of TAM (Television Audience Measurement). Ajay had also been in ‘ Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo  was a popular Hind >> Read More... ’ for a cameo role. The serial was telecast on Zee TV between Mar 2009 to Feb 2011. Between 2010-11, he played the character of ‘Tej Pratap Singh’ in a serial, named ‘ Bitto’ which was telecasted on Shara One.

He performed the role of ‘Inspector Shrikant Dave’ in a TV serial ‘ Adaalat’ (won Indian Tele Awards in 2012 for best actor, best screenplay writer, best director and best thriller program) which ran on Sony TV from Nov 2010 to 2015. This TV serial was set in a courtroom and the role of Inspector Dave is the one of the most crucial roles. Ajay has also been seen in two CID crossover episodes with Adaalat, as Inspector Dave. The first crossover episode was telecasted during Dec 2010 and the second was during July 2012. on Sony Tv.
