Hriday Shetty is an Indian film director who has made movies like Plan,

. Hriday’s father, M.B. Shetty, was a famous action choreographer, stunt artist and a part-time actor who featured in various movies as a villain. As a kid, Hriday visited his father on the sets and often saw him being beaten up by the protagonists while filming the fight sequences which hurt him psychologically.
One day, Hriday asked him about this issue and got a simple reply from his father who stated that it is a part of his job and it brings food to their table. He also recalled an incident where his father threw him off a 25 feet tall building, with mattresses on the ground for reducing the impact of his descent. While Hriday admitted that he was excited, the crew became concerned when they came to know about this. Hriday started his career by serving as an assistant director for a couple of flicks.
These projects include Parasmani (1992), Hum Hain Kamaal Ke (1993), Aatish (1994), Ram Shastra, Khauff, and Rohan Sippy’s Kuch Naa Kaho. Eventually, in 2004, Hriday collaborated with

. Although it did not have a successful time at the multiplexes, the single-screen theatre audience praised the film for its suspense and action sequences. Movie buffs noted its similarity with Suicide Kings, a Hollywood production.
In 2005, Hriday departed from the action genre and made a romantic drama “Pyaar Mein Twist” in which the pair of
returned to act opposite each other after a long period. Despite the lack of new and interesting content, fans liked the performances of Rishi & Dimple as they recollected the memories of Bobby (1973).
In 2012, he came back with a crime comedy film Chaalis Chauraasi. It featured
