Urmila Matondkar is an Indian actress born on 4th February 1974 in Mumbai. Her mother tongue is Marathi and she has appeared in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and Tamil movies. In 2003, she played the role of a north Indian girl in the movie named “Pinjar”. The movie was based on the separation of India in 1947. Also, she made a remarkable performance in film “Tehzeeb”. However, she was noted for her exceptional performance in film “Bhoot” and she won her first Filmfare Award as best actress in the critic’s choice category. Also, she won Star Screen best actress award, Zee Cine Awards, Bollywood Movie Awards and National Honor Rajiv Gandhi Award for her role in “Bhoot”.
