Vikram Bhatt (Born 1969) is a prominent film director, producer, and screenwriter of Indian cinema. He has worked as the creative head of ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. until the year 2014. Bhatt was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. He is the grandson of

Vikram’s father is cinematographer
. In the year 1982, when he was only 14, Bhatt started working with prominent Indian director Mukul Anand in his first film, Kanoon Kya Karega. Bhatt was the chief assistant of Mukul Anand on the sets of the blockbuster Agneepath, which is considered as a cult classic, despite not being a box office success.
