He was born on 19th July 1954 that makes him 67 years old currently. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the prestigious Harvard University that he graduated from in 1976. (What else would you even expect from such a talented writer?)
Not much is known about his personal life except for having a brother. Interestingly, Steve O’Donnell’s this brother is his identical twin named Mark O’Donnell. Mark was also an American writer and humourist. Unfortunately, he passed away by collapsing in his apartment in 2012. He was the Tony award-winning co-writer of the Broadway musical Hairspray.
Steve O’Donnell had started working on the Late Night with David Letterman show when it initially began to air. He has even served as the head writer there.
