Mark Edwards is an extraordinary writer known for writing psychological thrillers in which scary things happen to ordinary people. He has written several remarkable books in his life that are genuinely appreciated by people around the world. His notable works include ‘Here to Stay’, ‘The Magpies’, ‘Because She Loves Me’, and ‘The Retreat’.

He was born in 1970 on the south coast of England. Also, he was raised in the former country only. His parents got divorced during his early ages. He has had a keen interest in scary movies since his childhood. Therefore, getting into the line of writing was not much difficult for him. Soon, he commenced writing in his 20’s after leaving the University. After some time, he moved to the United States and began working in the field of marketing. While that time, he worked with a pal author Louise Voss. After that, they were seen working together while co-authoring the same book. But, unfortunately, the two books, ‘Killing Cupid’ and ‘Catch Your Death’, were rejected by a few publishers.

After four consecutive years, they got their books published on Amazon Kindle in 2010. They gained quite an audience and were immensely appreciated by the readers. Due to the widespread popularity and becoming one of the bestsellers on Amazon, they were chosen by some of the greatest publishers like Harper Collins, as well as Thomas & Mercer. He has written great books till now, and he has earned himself the title of “A can’t-miss king of psychological suspense”. He has not a specific genre, but he loves to explore and write in different styles. His goal has always been to convey a story to the readers. Some of his credits for his novels include ‘What You Wish For’, ‘Because She Loves Me’, ‘Follow You Home’, ‘The Devil’s Work’, ‘The Lucky Ones’, ‘The Retreat’, ‘In Her Shadow’, ‘Here To Stay’, and ‘The House Guest’.

Additionally, he has published two short sequels to ‘The Magpies’ namely ‘A Murder of Magpies’ and ‘Last of The Magpies’, and six books co-authored with Louise Voss. This author has set the bar high as he has sold over 3.5 million books since his first solo novel, ‘The Magpies’, published in 2013. Mark’s most recent book is ‘The Hollows’, which was published in July 2021. One of his pleasant attributes that make him unique is that he loves hearing from his readers and encourages them to contact him.
