Kim Caramele is an American writer and producer. She is also famed for her involvement in the writing of monologues in 2015 MTV Movie Awards.

Kim Caramele is the younger sister of the popular stand-up comedian Amy Schumer. She was born to upstate American parents, namely Gordon Schumer and Sandra Schumer. She grew up in the town of Long Island. When she was eight years old, her father was diagnosed with MS. He had to be immediately shifted to an assisted living facility. Due to this situation, the family went bankrupt and had to give up their luxurious lifestyle. Her father sold fancy Italian furniture in the city of Manhattan, whereas, her mother was a therapist for speech and hearing. Following which, their parents got divorced. Both the parents have been married three times respectively.

Kim got married to her best friend at the age of 23. They met in the first year of their graduation at Pace University. They have been now married for 7 years and have no kids. Kim and her sister are extremely close and have been each other’s lifestyle for so long. In 2013, she left her job and moved to the city, New York. She joined Amy’s writing staff of the hit Comedy Central series - Inside Amy Schumer. Kim is often called Amy’s “Road Manager” as she always travels with her during her stand-up tours. She also worked as an Associate Producer in Amy’s first feature film starring herself – Trainwreck. Some of the well-known skits written by her are – Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup, 12 Angry Men, etc. For her amazing work, she has won many nominations like Primetime Emmy Award for Amazing Writer. She has also won awards like Writers Guild of America Award for Television in the Comedy/Variety section for the Sketch Series.
