The vast world of anime is aware of two of the most iconic and popular anime, One Piece and Dragon Ball. Every character of these two series is iconic. Hence, people remember every detail of the characters, but when it comes to the people that gave life to these characters, we often forget. Luffy of One Piece is a favorite among all anime watchers, and the person that made these characters real is one of the most revered and experienced voice-over artists of the Japanese anime industry, Mayumi Tanaka.
Mayumi Abe was born on 15 January 1955, in Tokyo, Tanaka is a narrator, voice artist, and actress. She first started working in 1978 and has been unstoppable till then. Tanaka has worked in more than 50 different animes and movies. Many of these animes were super-hit such as One Piece, Sakura Wars, and Dragon Ball. Most importantly, if you used to watch Japanese cartoons as a child, you must be well- aware of the name Doraemon and Perman. She has worked for these two cartoons shows and many more as well.
