Kate Harbour is a voice actress and she provides her voice TV series and movies. She was born on 15th April, 1971 in Hammersmith, London, England. She grew up in the Nether Hayford village. She started dancing at the age of 8, and she often used to perform at the school function and local fete.

When she was 8 years old, she went to the Arts Educational School, in Tring where she learned ballet. At the age of 12, she portrayed the role of “first mouse”, for the Royal Festival Ballet named “Nutcracker” at the Royal Festival Hall, and it was then when her love for theatre was born.

She then joined The Central School of Ballet, supervised by the late Christopher Gable, who was the founder as well. In her 3rd year, she went on tour with the school’s company in the “World on Fire” production. It was a great experience for her.

Kate’s first professional stage job was as Maggie, the cow at Watford Palace. She joined the NYMT for a season at the Edinburgh Festival. She played as Granny Grusinia and other parts opposite Johnny Lee Miller in Brecht’s Caucasian Chalk Circle. The NYMT produced “Joseph and his amazing Technicolor dream”, which featured Jude Law.

After that, she used to work as a receptionist, but she didn’t do well in that job. She also worked as Lauder girl for Harrods. Kate finally got her dream job as a ballet teacher in Ken Hill’s, “ Phantom Click to look into! >> Read More... .” It was the best tour of her life as she had been accompanied by her father, Michael, who was also a part of the show. They went to the UK, Japan, and Manila.

This tour made her realize that she had a lovely voice and it had to go somewhere and luckily she got her first show reel with Jackie Cookie. She got cast as Oakie Doke, and finally, her career started as a voice artist. She got some great opportunities. She provided her voice in Brambly Hedge, Percy the Park Keeper, Nick and Perry, Fimbles, Bob the builder, Yoko! Jakamoko! Toko!, Boo, Shaun the sheep, Timmy Time and Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps. She reached the position of no.1 on, the chart for recording her voice in Bob, the builder.
