Born in Crested Butte, Colorado, Heidi Montag is an American actress, singer, fashion designer and a novelist. She was born to parents, Darlene (mother) and Bill Montag (father), who separated eventually. Heidi has an elder sister, Holly (also a television personality) and a younger brother named, Sky. After schooling, Heidi joined Academy of Art University in San Francisco and there, she met “Lauren Conrad”, who was one of the leading cast members of the reality TV series by MTV named, “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County”.

Afterward, Heidi was also included in the four episodes during the show’s second season. However, Heidi came into recognition with the MTV reality TV series, “The Hills”, at the same time of which, Heidi attended Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. As she continued to work in “The Hills”, she started to date “Spencer Pratt”, who was a companion cast member; this eventually led to a termination in her friendship with Lauren Conrad. Heidi Montag is an American television actress, fashion designer, author, and a singer. She came to fame after being cast for the American reality show The Hills in the late 2000s. She is currently married to the actor Spencer Pratt. Her older sister, Holly Montag is also a reality television personality. She was born on September 15, 1989, in Crested Butte in the state of Colorado to parents Darlene Montag and Bill Montag. She is the middle child, with Holly Montag being the eldest and Sky Montag, the youngest among the siblings. After completing her graduation from high school, she moved to the state of California where she enrolled in the Academy of Art University located in San Francisco. In 2006, she was roped for another reality television show, The Hills. On August 2007, she made her first move into the music industry by beginning to record her very first studio album titled Superficial with producer Steve Morales. After some time, she entered into yet another relationship, this time with Spencer Pratt. The second season of The Hills saw the deteriorating friendship of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. Montag’s close association with Pratt was the primary reason for that. With the onset of Season 3, Conrad completely cut off Montag from her life, ending their friendship, after rumors of her making a sex tape with ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler reached her ear. She suspected Pratt for spreading these fake rumors and seeing Montag support him was her final breaking point. By this time, Montag had moved in together with Pratt in his apartment.

The subsequent seasons of The Hill chronicled the ensuing feud between these three. In 2007, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag announced the news of their engagement. The fourth season of the show consisted of the elopement of the two to Mexico on November 20, 2008. After that, they decided to have a proper wedding and hence, in the fifth and the last season of The Hills, they got married. The highlight of that episode was the appearance made by Conrad, which turned out to be her final appearance.
