Bridget Catherine Regan was born in Carlsbad, California, U.S., on February 3, 1982. She was born to Jim Regan and Mary Catherine (Hagedorn). She is currently living in New Zealand with her film writer husband, Eamon O'Sullivan, and their two children, Frankie Jean and Barney Moon. She met her husband while she was shooting for the Legend of the Seeker on location in New Zealand. Bridget moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting, having graduated with a BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts. There she worked on Broadway, portraying the character of Cecile Leroux in the Broadway comedy Is He Dead, written by Mark Twain and directed by Michael Blackmore.
Since then, she has produced multiple productions of the electronic-pop musical Camp Wanatachioff-Broadway and at the iconic LaMaMaTheater. She is known for her roles like KahlanAmnell in ABC Studio's cult-hit, Legend of the Seeker, Rachel Turner/ Rebecca Lowe in White Collar, Rose Solano in Jane the Virgin, and Dottie Underwood in Agent Carter.
