Tyron Woodley

If, we talk about an American mixed artist and amateur wrestler, it is definitely Tyron Lanket Woodley. He was born in the city of Missouri with his skills in wrestling. In his school time he honor rolled every term, received honors in football, and won two times state level wrestling with a state title. In 2008, he became the teammate of Olympian and Current MMA fighter, Ben Askren. He started up his career by a Local MMA gym and participated in the gym amateur fight card after being asked by its owner.

The fight lasted for 20 seconds with Woodley walking away victorious. After that, he fought his first professional fight on 7 February, 2009 in Columbia, Missouri. The fight was organized by the Headhunter Productions at the Holiday Inn Select Executive Centre. He fought again with Steve Schnider. He won the second fight by submitting Jeff Carstens. Soon, Woodley started fighting in many tournaments against his opponent wrestlers. Now it’s time to discuss the important part of any wrestler in his wrestling career i.e., Strikeforce. Tyron’s Strikeforce debut was in St. Louis, Missouri against Sal Woods.

The event where the fight was conducted was the Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields on June 6 2009. Tyron won the fight and afterwards, Strikeforce signed him for an exclusive six fight deal and most of the Showtime cards. At Strikeforce: San Jose on 9th October 2010, Woodley defeated André Galvão by a knockout midway in the first round. On 14th July 2012, at Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy, Tyron faced Nate Marquardt for the vacancy at Strikeforce Welterweight Championship. However, he lost by a KO in the fourth round. On February 02, 2013 – UFC 156, Tyron Woodley fought against Jay Hieron. Woodley won the fight with his significant strikes.

On June 15, 2013 – UFC 161 Woodley lost a fight against Jake Shield. He again won the fights against Josh Koscheck UFC 167 – Nov 16, 2013. He again won the fight against Carlos Condit in UFC – 171 - Mar 15, 2014. In UFC fight-night his performance was called the performance of the night. He fought against Dong Hyun Kim on Aug 23, 2014. Again in UFC 201 – Jul 30, 2016 his performance was the performance of the night, on that night he fought against Robbie Lawler.

Recently, in UFC 209 – Mar 04, 2017 he won the fight against Stephen Thompson. He also has a Professional record breakdown; he played 21 matches of wrestling, 17 wins and 3 losses. The match between Tyron and Stephen Thompson in UFC 205 was a draw. In his career, he has also played roles in films and television. In the year 2010, the television show titled as Bull Beatdown, Tryon played himself in the episode Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.

In 2017, Molten Man/Mark Raxton is playing the role in the upcoming film Spider- Man: Homecoming. In 2016, in The Evolution of Punk, Woodley played a role.
