Nick Young

Nick Young is an American basketball player. He was born on 1st June 1985 in Los Angeles in California. Nick completed his high school from Cleveland in California. Then, he attended USC from 2004 to 2007. Nick plays in the National Basketball Association league for Los Angeles. He performs for small forward and shooting guard positions. He participated in his college also. His team was the first team to select in the All-Pac-10.

Young played basketball in Cleveland School located in a town called Reseda in California. He scored 27.2 points. He honored as the first team in the San Fernando area to earn 2004 CIF City Division. HoopScoop picked Young as the seventh-best player in the country. In 2004, Frank Burlison, a prep basketball coach, announced Young as one of the Top 50 recruits. In one of his game, he scored 56 points. In 2003, he had honored as the first team in CIF L.A. City Section. He also draws a place in the list of the Top Seniors in 2004.

Coming to his college career, from 2004 to 2007, he performed at University of South California. For two seasons, he had been the first team in All-Pac 10. Then, in 2007, he took part in the NCAA Tournament. His team lost the match from North Carolina Heels by 10 points. Then, Nick led against Arkansas and won the game by 17 points. Further, he announced to the daily newspaper of Los Angeles that he would start his professional career from 2007 by entering to NBA Draft. Washington Wizards selected him.

Moving on to his professional career, he began his first NBA game against Sacramento Kings. He scored 43 points against him. He was seen to be trapped in an accident for keeping guns in his locker room. Later, he tried to escape by charging that his teammates have trying to shoot him.

In 2012, he signed a deal with Clippers of Los Angeles, Washington Wizards, and Denver Nuggets. Young’s excellent performance against the Memphis Grizzlies in 2012, led to Clippers victory. Then, he had a one-year contract with Philadelphia 76ers. Following the next year, he dealt with Lakers. Again, in 2014, he had a four-year agreement with Lakers. He had a severe injury to his right thumb, which led to a prolonged bed rest. He won against Atlanta Hawks with a lead of 5 points.
