Rhett Reese

Rhett Reese is an acclaimed producer and screenwriter. An American by origin, he studied at Stanford University. Rhett majored in Psychology and always wanted to be a screenwriter. He is married to Chelsey Crisp who is an actress, comedian, and writer by profession. Her role of Honey Ellis in the television series Fresh Off the Boat has earned her a lot of appreciation.

The Joe Schmo Show which is a famous reality television hoax show has been created and executive produced by Rhett and Paul Wernick. It ran for three seasons in the United States of America. Rhett is also credited for providing additional story material for multiple animated films. These include Walt Disney Feature Animation produced Dinosaur (2001), Pixar Animation Studio produced Monsters, Inc. (2001) and Walt Disney Feature Animation produced Tarzan II (2005). He wrote the screenplay for the animated comedy Clifford's Really Big Movie (2004).

He has also worked as the production assistant for the 1992 television documentary James Cagney: Top of the World. Rhett has been accredited as the writer for the movie Cruel Intentions 3 (2004). He has also dabbled at writing the science fiction and military action film G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) based on the toy franchise. In spite of critics not approving of the movie, it was a huge box office hit. In 2001, he created Reese Wernick Productions alongside Paul Wernick with the aim of producing and creating entertainment in various mediums. Rhett is an active user on Twitter. The name of his handle is RhettReese.

He has also written a novel titled Anxiety. It is a suspense novel and is about conquering extreme fear. He took to Reddit to promote his film Deadpool. His favorite superhero is the Spiderman. The horror film in the science fiction genre Life which released in March 2017 has also been written by him.
