Kristin Hahn is an American Film Producer and Writer, born on 30th November 1968 in Omaha Nebraska, U.S. She spent her initial years in New Mexico and later moved to Los Angeles to achieve a career as a producer. Kristin joined a filmmaking course at the University of Southern California and was under the mentorship of Bob Ellison.

Later Jennifer bagged a role in the popular television serial ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S,' as 'Rachel Green' that formed the base of her acting career. Just after that, Kristin started off her career as a producer with the help of her mentor Bob Ellison. She was dating the actor Paul Rudd at the time and had her first son in 1999. She was the bridesmaid for Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s wedding on July 29, 2000. In April 2008, Kristin along with Jennifer Aniston formed a production agency named Echo Films. The company produces projects for both movies and television. Being partners in business didn’t impact negatively on her relation with Aniston. Later in 2015, she started a production company of her own, called Hahnscape Entertainment which focuses on taking rights to and developing literary material she writes and produces. Raised without religion, she was curious about the practice of faith and the solace or substance it offers in life. Her curiosity led her to explore different religions in America and learn about their faith and practices.
Her book ‘In Search of Grace: A Religious Outsider’s Journey Across America’s Landscape of Faith’ got published in 2009. In the book she explains her week spent with convent nuns, a month with Muslims, marathon meditation with Buddhist masters, exploring the rich culture of Jews and other religious cultures.
In 1997, she was nominated for Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival and won FIPRESCI prize along with Shainee Gabel. Her movie ‘The Departed’ released in 2006 bagged five awards including an Academy Award. Movie ‘Tumbledown’ was nominated for Leo Awards, in 2016, for the category of Best Motion Picture with producers Aaron L. Gilbert and Margot Hand. She initiated her career in the film industry in 1988 and continued to work her way through. She is a mother of two kids.
