John Penotti

John Penotti is the President of SK Global, a business formed by Sidney Kimmel Entertainment (SKE), a Hollywood-based independent film finance and production company, and Ivanhoe Pictures, a globally oriented local-language content company. John also produced the Chinese film My Other Home, which tells the actual story of NBA and CBA player Stephon Marbury. In 2016, John was the Executive Producer of filmmaker Na Hong-Korean Jin's sensation The Wailing, an Official Selection at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and grossed $50 million at the box office second-highest-grossing Fox Korea film of all time (after Avatar). John holds degrees in Biology and Psychology from Tufts University. John, a highly regarded squash player, captained the Tufts team to a national championship final. He lives between New York and Santa Monica with his wife and son.
