Jim Furgele is an American origin producer and a screenwriter. He works in the Indian film industry as a producer and has produced the super hit film Delhi Belly Click to look into! >> Read More... that got released in 2011. He was born in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.

He is an acclaimed film producer in India and like other artists migrating to India to work in Bollywood; Jim Furgele has also found a way into India and made his mark. He is the co-founder of a production house- Ferocious Attack Cow Productions.

Born in Los Angeles Jim Furgele had interest in cinema, so, he chose to take this path in his career. He enrolled in the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He took admission in the UCLA School of Theatre, Television, and Film.

Jim completed his bachelors and also Masters in Fine Arts (MFA), Screenwriting. In 1996, Akshat had written the script of the film, and it almost took 15 years to make it into a movie.

While in college Akshat Verma and Jim Furgele teamed up and founded a production house- Ferocious Attack Cow Productions. It helped them make advertisements for their assignments and portfolios. The script was a dark comedy and Akshat had written it straight. Things moved on slowly, and Delhi Belly got released in 2011, it became an instant hit and grabbed USD 14 million worldwide. Delhi Belly got nominated for many awards including best film, best dialogue and best cinematography Filmfare and Star Screen nominations.

From Los Angeles to Mumbai, Jim and Akshat have made a mark in Bollywood. When asked about facing the change in the fast life of India, Jim says that traveling on the local trains was quite challenging in the start. Jim presently lives in Mumbai, India.
