Donald Trump, full name Donald John Trump, is an internationally famous American. He is best known for being a television personality, having his own TV show called The Apprentice. Additionally, he is also a great business figure, an author and most recently he has stepped into politics, by getting a nomination from the Republican Party for the President of the United States 2016 election.

He is the Chairman of The Trump Organization, which is the principal holding company for his real estate ventures and other business interests. He was born in Queens, in New York City, on June 14th, 1946. His education took place at Kew Forest School and New York Military Academy. His net worth is 4.5 US billion dollars. His children with his first wife Ivana Zelnickova are Donald TrumpJr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump. With his second wife Marla Maples he had Tiffany Trump. And with his current wife Melania Knauss he has a kid named Barron Trump.

At the age of 23, he came into the show business, investing $70,000 to become co-producer of the 1970 Broadway comedy "Paris Is Out!", which ultimately flopped. Trump began his real estate career at his father's company Elizabeth Trump and Son. At present, he is holding many companies and organizations. Trump also says that he is worth $8.7 billion. Trump's various real estate holdings are 100% owned by Trump, which totals about $4 billion, and $943 million in assets are attributable to properties he only owns pieces of.

Then there is the $3.3 billion in real estate licensing deals and other branded products. Which basically implies that Trump values his character at $3.3 billion. Then there is about $300 million of other stuff and around $15 million from the Miss America pageant. All in all, Trump's net assets total $9.2 billion. At present his official commercial properties and investments are the Trump Tower, Trump Taj Mahal, and Golf Courses.

Since he was a young kid he has been going to the First Presbyterian Church situated in the Jamaican locality of Queens. Thus, Trump has always identified himself as a Presbyterian. Trump attended Sunday School and had his confirmation at that church. In 1983, he received Israel's Tree of Life Award for outstanding contributions to Israel-United States relations. Later on in 1990, he got the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor for his role in Ghosts Can't Do It.

He got into the Gaming Hall of Fame (class of 1995), and the NY Ride of Fame (class of 2010). Trump was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration (Hon. D.B.A.), in 2010 by Robert Gordon University. On 9th December, 2015, the university revoked the honorary doctorate citing that Trump’s statements and ideas were against the values and morals of the university.

He got the Honorary Doctor of Business (Hon. D.B.), 2012, Liberty University, the WWE Hall of Fame (class of 2013), The Republican Party of Sarasota, a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Statesman of the Year, the Liberty Award in 2015 at the Algemeiner Jewish 100 Gala in honor of his positive contributions to Israel–United States relations, and the Key to the City of Doral, Florida, in 2015.
