Prince William

Prince Wiliam was born on the 21st of June, 1982. The famous Princess Diana was his mother. He was a student of the Lugrove School which is present in Berkshire. Later, he went on with his education in the Eton College. For his higher education, he attended the University of St. Andrews. Earlier he decided to get a degree in the subject Art History, but he later changed his mind and obtained a degree in Geography instead. He thought of enrolling in the military of the United Kingdom and entered the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2006.

After completing his learning at this Institute, he was given the post of Second Lieutenant in the month of December of 2006 itself. He wanted to be of active use to the armed forces of Britain, but several people were against it as he was to take the throne after his father and grandmother’s tenure gets over. He started to train himself for the royal air force and navy instead and got the post of a flying officer as well a sub-lieutenant. He started making himself more skilled by joining the training at RAF Cranwell. He was once deployed in the Caribbean in the vessel HMS Iron Duke, where the people on the boat succeeded in capturing a trawler which was transporting nine hundred kilograms of the drug cocaine. Later, he decided to work with the RAF and was upgraded to the title of flight lieutenant. Instead of engaging in actual combat, he would perform Search and Rescue job.

The first such life-saving operation Prince William did was to save a man from Morecambe Bay, who was having a heart attack. In 2011, he got the opportunity to help the air force by coming to use of a sinking cargo ship found in the Irish Sea. He succeeded in saving two people personally. In the June month of the 2012 year, he became a Sea King Helicopter pilot, instead of just a co-pilot. In the 2002 year, he was appointmented as the Counsellor of State of England. In 2010, he was made the presidential head of The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. He has been on official tours to many countries such as New Zealand, United States of America, Singapore and also China. In 2005, he encouraged and provided patronage to the Tusk Trust, an organization in favour of saving wild animals from getting poached. Prince William married Catherine Middleton the 29th of the month of April in 2011.
